This was another great day in the history of CHWA with the birth of the charity partnership with Health Matters on Siskin Drive.
Their support for CHWA will cover all angles and we are excited to be working with them!

Jaime collected another £730 fro the Finance Department for the women and children we support.
It was lovely to meet with Michelle (their FCO) again and then be involved in their department 'Huddle' presenting to all those who donated for the Summer Refuge Day Trip.
A MASSIVE thank you as always for your ongoing support!
A fantastic group of volunteers from CBS spent a day at our Hen Lane office, painting the walls, shed and fence in the back garden.
What a fabulous effort from both men and women from CBS to create a safe and relaxing break out area for staff and clients to use and enjoy.
They have also taken some brilliant ideas back to their departments and Community Champions for their fundraising, and uses for the money...
A HUGE thank you to all involved!
They'll be back.....
Our new volunteer training programme began 7th August 2018, spread over 4 weeks to deliver a comprehensive activity based learning to equip our volunteers and students with the knowledge and tools they need to ensure a full and complete service delivery to our service users.
Lots of very positive feedback...
A kind invitation for lunch to present to the club about the services we deliver, was followed with an offer of funding from the Treasurer, including a cheque, which is greatly appreciated.
The letter requesting funding has been posted with details of the project the monies will fund; fingers crossed!
Thank you to all at the Rotary Club of North Coventry for your kind hospitality.
Jaime delivered an interview regarding a victims ability to have paid time off work to assist with support etc if experiencing DVA.
With the changes in the Domestic Abuse Bill, this is an ideal opportunity for the Government to take the lead (like New Zealand) with providing employers with a commitment to provide paid leave if someone discloses DVA, to cope with support, deal with the police and other agencies.
More to follow, we are sure....
A great time spent with Kate Hills at The Watch charity in Hillfields to present to their latest group of budding Radio Presenters.
Great to meet you all and see you soon Kate!
What an amazing day the service users and their children had in Skegness in July!
Once again this was funded by the Heart of England Foundation but also subsidised by Coventry Building Society.
The smiles and laughs throughout the day didn't end and everyone had the best day ever!
Please see Facebook or Instagram for the photos...
Thank you to the Heart of England Foundation for the support they continue to provide to us, in various ways. They have assisted with our flat roof, day trips to the seaside, toys and games for the beach and park, plus sheds for storage.
Thank you so much to you and your Trustees for supporting the services we provide to our women and children in refuge and in Outreach. Your kindness is making such a huge difference, and more importantly creating happy memories! And those are irreplaceable!
Jan raised £417 for our women & children by raffling one of her amazing paintings! Thank you so much to all involved!
