Job 1 : Domestic Abuse Practitioner - Early Intervention Team

£29,540 per annum 37 hours per week

25 days leave + Bank Holidays

About Us:

Coventry Haven Women’s Aid (CHWA) is a feminist organisation dedicated to supporting survivors of Domestic Violence and Abuse. With over 54 years of experience, we are committed to promoting social justice, equity, and empowerment for victim-survivors. CHWA is recognised for its innovative approaches, including our award-winning Early Intervention Team (EIT), which provides critical support within the first 24 hours of a Domestic Abuse incident.

The Role:

Due to a successful National Lottery funding award, we are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Domestic Abuse Early Intervention Service Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will be co-located at Coventry Police Station and will work closely with the police, to provide immediate, specialist support to victim-survivors of Domestic Abuse.

Job 2&3 : 2 x IRIS Advocate Educator’s

Job 2: IRIS AE - Maternity Cover for 12 Months - 30 hrs pw

Job 3: IRIS AE - Ongoing role - subject to continued funding - 30 hrs pw

Both will have responsibility for providing training to General Practice Surgeries, ongoing support for health professionals and support and advocacy for patients.

£31,537 per annum PRO RATA

Both roles 30 hours per week

25 days leave Pro rata + Bank Holidays

Benefits include ongoing training and development, an Employee Assistance Programme and Pension Contribution

Job 2 is a temporary position covering maternity leave for 12 months.
