We regularly set up informal groups in different areas of Coventry, for women who have used our services and who want to meet new people, build up confidence and find new friends and interests.

One of our group programmes is called “Just4Me" (copyright). It is usually held once a week over a period of six weeks, and at each meeting we provide a speaker or an activity. Activities vary and are lead by what you would like to do but previous sessions have included:

  • Recognising the initial signs of domestic violence and abuse

  • Confidence and assertiveness training

  • Hand and nail care

  • Advice from a dietitian on healthy lifestyles

  • A cooking session

  • Relaxation techniques

We are starting Just4Me groups at the following venues:

Every Thursday at St Peter's Centre, Church Street, Coventry CV1 5NP from 9.30am - 11.30am; we look forward to seeing you there!

Every Wednesday at Mosaic Family Hub, Jardine Crescent, Coventry CV4 9PL from 9.30am - 11.30am; we look forward to meeting you!

We also hold a 'Friendship Group' every first and third Monday of each month (10am start), at The Central Library,  Smithford Way, CV1 1FY. Please contact Seto on ssullivan@coventryhaven.co.uk for more details.
