HOW WILL MY DONATION MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
£5 – Out of hours emergency transport to take a woman and her children to safety
£10 – Emergency food pack on arrival in refuge
£20 – Emotional support session at the Listening Post
£50 – Emergency accommodation for one night
£50 – ‘Making Memories’ pack for mum to take her children out to the cinema, for a meal or a sporting event
£75 – Mum’s moving on starter pack on leaving refuge
£75 – Children’s ‘New Beginnings’ pack on leaving refuge
£100 – Four counselling sessions

We are pleased to announce that our Just4Me groups are restarting at St Peters Centre and also the Mosaic Family Hub in Jardine Crescent!
Every Thursday starting 20th September 2018, at St Peters Centre, Charles Street, Coventry CV1 5NP fro 9.30am - 11.30am
Every Wednesday starting 3rd October 2018, at The Mosaic Family Hub, Jardine Crescent, Coventry CV4 9PL from 9.30am - 11.30am
All FREE activity based groups, led by women for women, covering subjects chosen by YOU!

Coventry Building Society - 21st August 2018
A very crucial and productive meeting with CBS (3 levels of management) to discuss and progress training within teams and branches to understand and spot the signs of abuse, especially financial abuse.

Another bank ticked from my list!
18th August 2018 - Xcel 10th plus Warwickshire Pride
Yes we were in 2 places at once!
Our team of event volunteers (including our Chair Woman), 3 of them their very first time, spent the day in 2 places, covering the Xcel 10th Anniversary Event in Coventry and Warwickshire Pride in Leamington.
We raised awareness, listened to disclosures and offered our support to all those we spoke with, had some laughter with the Bucking Bronco, plus we got to meet Matty from Emmerdale!
A little bit windy but what a fabulous day was had by all! The volunteers were just brilliant! Thank you to everyone involved and to all those we met on the day! #TeamBonding
Health Matters - 17th August 2018
This was another great day in the history of CHWA with the birth of the charity partnership with Health Matters on Siskin Drive.
Their support for CHWA will cover all angles and we are excited to be working with them!
Coventry Building Society - Cheque Award
Jaime collected another £730 fro the Finance Department for the women and children we support.
It was lovely to meet with Michelle (their FCO) again and then be involved in their department 'Huddle' presenting to all those who donated for the Summer Refuge Day Trip.
