“Coventry Women’s Partnership secure over £630,000 to support women in Coventry”
On International Women’s Day 2021, we are sharing the news that Coventry Women’s Partnership, a unique collaboration of five organisations in the city which aims to improve economic outcomes for women in Coventry, has been awarded £633,240 funding from The Smallwood Trust. Led by Foleshill Women’s Training (FWT) in partnership with Coventry Haven Women’s Aid, Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (CRASAC), Central England Law Centre Coventry and Kairos WWT, the partnership will now continue the delivery of the project to women across Coventry for three years up to December 2023.
The funding follows a successful three-year pilot by the partnership which supported more than 800 women and received international recognition for its work through the publication of six reports by The Women’s Budget Group into the impact of the project on the individuals and communities it supported.
