Job Vacancy - Court Support & Advocacy Worker - 21 hours per week

We have the following job vacancy:  

Do you want to be part of a dynamic team who work to promote the safety and well-being of women, children and young people affected by domestic violence and abuse?  

We are looking to recruit the following post: 

Court & Advocacy Support Worker - 21 hours per week 

£ 28,624 per annum FTE

£16,246 per annum 21 hours 

21 hours per week – 2 year fixed contract (extension subject to continuation funding)

 25 days leave + Bank Holidays (pro-rata)

 This role requires an individual with compassion, empathy, excellent interpersonal skills, strong advocacy, and the ability to develop good partnerships with professionals. You will:

  • deliver high quality outreach and advocacy services for women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse

  • develop and deliver a range of support services to victims of domestic abuse, especially those at the highest risk within the community

  • work within a multi agency framework which includes the Court setting and local partnership responses to Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA)
