BECOME A SMALL BUSINESS STAR WITH 'WORK FOR GOOD'

The Small Business Star match funding campaign is a festive fundraising opportunity for small businesses to help UK charities raise much needed funds by donating through their Christmas sales.

From 1st-31st December 2020, Work for Good will double donations raised from the sales of products and services (or a one-off Christmas donation) and paid via our platform (up to £500 per business, whilst funds remain. See T&C’s.)

As well as raising money for good causes, the Small Business Star match funding campaign has been created to shine a light on the UK’s socially responsible small business community, illustrating that purposeful enterprise is better for all.

How can your business become a Small Business Star?

  • Step 1

Sign up and pledge a proportion of sales from your products or services (or make a one-off donation) to your chosen charity.

  • Step 2

Create a buzz! Start your own Small Business Star fundraising campaign. We’ve created a toolkit to help you get started.

  • Step 3

Donations must be paid to the charity between 1st - 31st December and we will double these (whilst funds remain)!

CHWA CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2020

COVENTRY HAVEN WA CHRISTMAS APPEAL

Across Coventry and in our refuges, there are many vulnerable children who need your help not just to get through Christmas, but to have THE best Christmas, and to thrive in 2021!

Your donation this Christmas will help to change lives. At #CoventryHavenWomensAid, we believe that children shouldn’t ever feel that abuse and violence is a normal part of home life; it’s not! There is a way out, but we need your support to free victims from living in fear.

Instead of sending Christmas cards to your loved ones, could you donate the card value plus postage to us to support the crucial support required in refuge, or could you donate a gift voucher to enable mums in refuge to choose Christmas presents for their children and to buy food for the holiday?

How can I help?

*Text HAVEN to 70450 to donate £4

To donate £5 text HAVEN 5

To donate £10 text HAVEN 10

To donate £20 text HAVEN 20

You can choose to give any whole amount between £1 and £20

Please see our website for our bank details and for other methods of ‘giving’:

'One Step Forward' Domestic Abuse Programme - Survivor Course

‘ONE STEP FORWARD’ DOMESTIC ABUSE TRAINING WORKSHOP

Our ‘One Step Forward’ group work webinar is a 6-week programme that last for 1 hour 30 mins each week.

Each Session is carried out over a webinar (Zoom). You will be able to see a presentation each week covering the different topics around domestic abuse and the impact it has on you and your children.

You are invited to share your thoughts and experiences, although you can choose to have your camera or microphone off if you would prefer to only listen to the facilitator and others in the group.

You are also able to share your thoughts and experiences via the ‘chat’ function which is useful. The webinar is always a confidential and safe space for everyone.

Following each session there will be a feedback sheet for you to complete if you wish to evidence your awareness around domestic abuse for Social Care, the Family Court or for your own records.  All participants will receive a certificate of participation once they have completed the programme.

Please call 02476 444 077 or email info@coventryhaven.co.uk to register for your free place on the course; please note there may be a waiting list for the course due to how popular and effective it has been.
